Study Materials

As for the subject of English language and literature, the study material followed and taken up in the school is as per the curriculum and textbooks prescribed by the KVS which is same for all the KV schools. For classes VI to X, two NCERT authorized English books are followed, with one course reader and another a supplementary reader for each class. For grammar and vocabulary, the working with language section after each chapter works as a foundational and basic component in learning the four essential skills of English language. Along with this, to develop reading, speaking, listening and writing skills of the students the behind-the-chapter exercises of these NCERT textbooks are such designed that each skill is focused upon so that language potential of students could be nurtured.
